New things to consider in 2025
New product, service, or niche to offer
Are you wanting to add something to your offerings this year? Maybe you are creating a product - a book, a workshop, or a course - for your clients. You might consider expanding the services you offer, such as offering team sessions in addition to individual sessions or trying to land a speaking engagement as a keynote speaker. You may also consider a identifying a niche you are going to cultivate this year - and how you'll spread the word when you do.
New knowledge or skills to learn
As entrepreneurs, we believe it's incredibly important to keep learning. None of us know everything! So, what are you interested in learning this year? Are there any particular workshops, webinars, or events you want to attend? What articles and books do you want to read? New knowledge and skills could be specific to the clients you work with, your niche, your life as an entrepreneur, or your business needs.
Renewal of memberships
Take a look at the organizations you are a member of, like AASP, APA, or others. Be sure to renew your membership for the ones that remain applicable so that you retain those professional benefits. If you are a CMPC, take a few minutes to review and update your CMPC profile within the Member Area of the AASP website so that everything is current. This helps make it easy for potential clients to find you and others to refer to you.
New aspects to remove
Not everything new that you consider has to be adding something to your business or your life. Consider what things you want to subtract this year. This could be not taking specific clients who aren't a good fit for you, cleaning out your office or desk, or canceling subscriptions from services you aren't using anymore.
